Martial Universe (Wu Dong Qian Kun)

finished this novel today. and I enjoyed reading the story of lin dong. lin dong is a great character with a few to little flaws. (although the author has some fetishes with writing r*p*d to lovers plots. ) Almost all the side cast in the early story is irrelevant except for lin langtian and lin dong's family. The starting is somewhat mid and gets boring but when the hundred empires war started I thoroughly enjoyed reading this everyday. there were a few arcs which were good and bad after this but the ending was done well. The lin dong trio moments were epic. It's definitely better than btth as a read , but it still has some of the repetitive plots which can make it a drag. the romance between ying huanhuan and lin dong is done way better than ling qingzhu and lin dong. honestly it's an enjoyable read.

I loved it. It is a nice novel, good battles and plot, and mc is also good, courageous and thoughtful and most importantly a little bit arrogant to make it nice. This type of cultivation is also nice, it is a little different from qi cultivation.

I'm not very good at reviewing. So in my opinion, this novel is overall good even though there are some shortcomings such as the development of some characters being ignored or forced to be bad, romantic etc. including that I don't know why the creator of this novel has a fetish of being r*p*d. . . this novel is about cultivation so you all know there will be face slapping, stupid arrogant youths from big clans and so on, this is still acceptable. . . there are some cultivation novels the worse ones I've found are also the ones I've found very good because of some cultivation novels that don't have stupid arrogant young masters.

Way better than BTTH, Good progression in story, good world building/exploring and various factions. Always feels like Mc is behind in power levels and always fighting people levels above him. Romance is built up well and non clingy fmc. I wish Mc had his own unique powers and techniques instead of just stealing them from others. The ending was freaky with twists made me appreciate this novel and the journey. Decent novel (not the best) but might be worth a try

It's not the best novel I read and it's not the worst one I read. All I can say is even though I didn't like some parts, it was a good read nonetheless. A lot better than BTTH tbh. Off to the next one then. . not sure which one to read, The great ruler or Dragon prince yuan.

This is my second Chinese cultivation novel I read. The starting point is the same as general genre. Someone hurt his father in the past, making him a cripple. MC vowed to take revenge. He got a helping hand soul like cheat system. This novel has very clear about cultivation ranks. It is good for advance users since it has more than 1, 000 chapters. It's worth reading in my opinion. 😎

One of my favorite novels. Although this is not a new idea, I really liked it. This is not for you if you are reading a novel on a new topic that you have never had before.

Its a good story, particularly when paired with BTTH heavens and the continuation of both of these novels in the great rule, Fairly overpowered protagonist but his power makes sense in the story context, good translation as well. Arc's are very well written.

All i can say is is, I liked it better than btth and the story is pretty good (decent)
and it is also not as predictable in the mid - later stages like btth (trust me)

Starts out a lot like all the other novels in this genere. The novel has potentiel in the beginnings, yet falls prey to lazy writing and illogical motivation from MC.
