this is one of the first that i've passed chapter 500 without having a burn out, and also the first time i've left a review on a novel, my thing is fantasy rpg so i didn't have hopes with this one and surprisingly I was wrong holy sh*t, it's one of the best i've ever read by far if you still have doubts give it a shot like i did

Machines, magic and superpowers mixed with science-fiction is cool idea. The endless posibilities of interaction between different intelligent species makes one lose in wonder. Well, this story is not about any of these. Every single thing that happens is for the MC's convenience, who becomes powerful by Deus ex Interface. The the plot revolves around the all-solving "I just suddenly remembered about this super-specific substory of the game that no one else knows about". The purpose of his strength is not to solve his problems or achieve his ambitions (there are none of either), but to make every other character say "OMG how is he so strong now!?" over and over for 1000+ chapters. This leads to flat personalities and nonexisting character development: no challenges, obstacles or defeats, thus, no changes. Extreme bloated text: "This is good for me. " He felt pleased. -repeat the contents of the previous paragraphs once or twice-. However, he felt pleased. Add the nonsense of the players tournaments, the status lists, and the dissertations on every random skill available. The story could have been condensed to 500ish or less chapters. Adverb abuse: most sentences have an adverb that provides nothing to the action described. Everything is extremely terrifying (note that terrifying already means extremely scaring). Everything happens suddenly, even if it is just standing from a chair, calmly smiling, or thinking cautiously. This point in particular is a pandemic in the world of written stories. Chinese (?) tropes: sexualized female descriptions, jokes about m*l*st*t**n, nations propaganda, going from smiling to solemn to smiling twice every conversation. Not fun. I very much prefered TAP's unhinged MC to this uncharacterized, MC-worshipping power fantasy.

I've read over 25 web novels, and this is the second one I've completed. If you look at the top ten web novels, this largely differs from the rest. My favourite part is how smooth the time skips are. Other than that, each character has a unique personality and aren't drab. Though the ending was too rushed to stand up to the hype through out the story, it was fine. I would have preferred more chapters though, since there was a lot of potential for further continuation. Of course, the story had its fair share of cons, such as being predictable and the mc being to OP. However, it was an interesting read.

This story and overall novel is kinda different from the high tier ones like RI, LoTM, and SS. Those three definitely have a stronger plot and stronger character development. But among the top 10 ranked novels this is the one with the best hype scenes, fight scenes, comedy interwoven within action and overall enjoyment. Sure there isn't much of a surprise to the sequence of the plot but it was rlly enjoyable none the less.

For me both the worldbuilding and the Characters where 5/5. Plot i think i would give 4/5 because sometimes it was just his luck (or probably that of Harrison or Feidin, bc mc only has 1 luck). I liked the Black Phantom and Darkstar Arcs the most, the others idk? And the End it felt a little rushed i think. Overall im gonna give it 4. 5/5 so still five stars for me.

Very imaginative… the “world building” is extreme. Great ending, though it will take a while to get there. Author doesn’t forget major plot points or old characters. It’s in my top two favorite novels.

if you can get past the silly premise (there's a serious competitive scene in a pay 2 win game? lmao) it's a decent story. I do wish the MC didn't rely on future knowledge so much, though.

Like he’s a regressor? If he isn’t going to use future knowledge, what’s the point of regression being in the plot

I've finished the story, and here is my view. The MC is too OP, and he knows all the information about the future, which makes the plot lack of tension and mystery. There's no other character on par with the MC in terms of both power and intelligence. The plot is carried by MC's luck. The most interesting thing about the story is how MC uses others to make money and build his Empire from zero to hero. Overall, this is a pretty interesting and highly entertaining story, but it does not leave any impression after reading.

Great advice if you want you can skip the tournament arc it's just glazing the Chinese government and the mc, that's if you get bored, well I myself read the tournament arcs, secondly Mc is great well not abviously at the level of klein, fang yuan & sunny but he is amazing just one level below them, the world building and power system are refreshing and new to me while being interesting but

Peak story, reread it twice already. Likeable characters, great progression (that makes sense), a bit of humour and mystery. Recommended for everyone.
