Nothing here is breaking new grounds. It has the same trope of "main character makes prior main love interest regret rejecting her" as many other josei web novels. What this story does have is good writing, length, and pacing. There are some internal conflicts and the rare self-reflection amongst characters. Some supernatural elements felt very shoehorned and completely took me out of the story for a moment, especially the ones that happen towards the end.

Classic modern chinese novel with a strong main charcater. She's everything you would want to see and read through in a novel of this genre! I love how its light-hearted yet full of mischief, and how insanely beautiful the dynamic of the characters are! I fell in love with the female lead and can confirm I'm part of 'Brother Yu Please Live With Me' Sect! Brother Yu being our most trusted, valiant, strong, brave, and super manly mc (please marry me!!).
