Story goes all over the place is later parts, tons of repeated scenes, the MC is enjoyable, but author really messed up the harem and created tons of scenes that were unnecessary and characters of the harem got extremely predicable and stale

Started with the manhwa then moved onto the novel because of how much I liked it. I heard it was an 'evil' mc that isn't the strongest physically but was very good at manipulation and that sold it for me. I love the plot and the og protagonist. I also got some spoilers that further strengthened how much I loved this novel bc things were going in a direction I liked. I wasn't disappointed and enjoyed the novel a lot. However I overestimated how much I can tolerate romance/harem. That stuff actually messes with me so bad and I just couldn't enjoy it. I dropped it bc I feel that the author definitely could have left the harem out or make it less intense. I totally recommend this bc even tho I dropped it, this story is truly amazing and I got spoiler about the plot and ending from friends since I was so into it. Yall should definitely give this a chance

Excellent premise, good story, interesting MC (though you won't like it if you're looking of muscle). Pacing is meh and harem is insufferable, but all in all, is a really satisfying read.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. hyunsung and kiyoung are genuinely hilarious and this is one of the only stories that can do the harem tag without making it retch-worthy i 100% recommend

The first novel I read and the one that sent me down the rabbit hole. I still see this as pure gold, Lee Kiyoung is a piece of sh*t and I love it.

Gonna conclude this as short as possible; Mc is a piece of sh*t; he becomes a holy piece of sh*t; he becomes a piece of something that can't be described with words; he becomes less of a piece of sh*t; he becomes a god of sh*t 10/10 for those who likes a selfish cuntish manipulative b*st*rd mc

Im my own worst enemy taken literally here. Creating problems yourself , blaming others and then solving the problems yourself for greater good. light kiyoung is the holy soul who carries the burden of the world whom you will follow him through in this journey and he will definitely keep you all entertained. Positively recommended for anyone trying to find a good story with comedy and adventure with scheming and plotting protagonist. it is a extremely good read.

My favorite novel of all time! I am an avid reader and therefore have read many good books, however this one take the cake. It has funny moments, a couple sad moments and is, for the most part, a light read when you just want to relax. The main character is a manipulative jerk but softens a bit when it comes to his loved ones. He is a funny character to read about and has grown on me a lot. Overall, 10/10!

This novel was incredible if you wanna see the true definition of machiavelic mc you will definitely enjoy you will have a mc that use his brains to destroy his opponents definitely a good ride.

I started reading this after I finished catching up with shadow slave. I have to say the Mc reminds me a lot of sunny as both are cunning. I enjoy the Mc’s plots and ploys in this novel. You’ll enjoy this if you like shadow slave.
