Past Life Returner

I know most people might get turned off by the economics and financial speak but I really enjoyed it! The MC isn't just OP, but OP with brains, which I absolutely love. Also, any MC is only going to be as smart as the author. . . and this author is pretty smart. 💯

A complete story. One of my favourite main characters, a rich supporting casts with lots of great world building. Fun and entertaining for most of the chapters with a very satisfying ending. Fully recommend!

This novel can be considered a hidden gem. Not as good as the kidnapped dragons but close. The first third of the novel may be offputing to some due to a lot of economy talk, bit it pays off.

I have been writing about this novel on-and-off before "The Great LNC-reset" and being a big fan of the build-up all the way throughout most of the story I somehow got stuck at chapter 249. Mainly due to all the switches from MC to sidecharacter perspectives. The continues switching to boring or non-interstering characters got me up to the point of getting tired from it and just couldn't keep track of another character being introduced and right away having their perspective without having the MC anywhere connected with them until 50 chapters later. In case anyone is reading this that finished it. . let me know if somehow this gets better again and we get 80-100% of the MC perspective back after a certain period/chapters. With regards to people complaining that it is ' too much finance ', I have a finance background so it doesn't bother me. However for the ones that want to skip the whole part without missing the build-up and partly the introduction of how the MC gets slowly stronger (and weaker again) - then start at chapter 149. This right about where you can also start the story. It might save you the whole build-up without blinking an eye. My recommendation would therefore be for a non-financial person to read: chapter 1-5 and then skip all the way to chapter 149. You're welcome to the enjoyment of Past Life Returner! Already read it one and came back, why tf rate so low man it not a bad story i can give it solid 7-8/10 the story, world building, politics everything is not that bad so don't trust review to much just give it a try for yourself

This is more of an Urban wish fantasy novel with a protagonist that has little to no personality, the relationships and characters are flat and boring. Theres hardly any actual combat/dungeon exploring and the chapters that have them are poorly written or full of loopholes, same with the protagonist system and how he knows everything it's full of potholes and doesn't really make sense. The only thing that makes sense and is interesting is the finance aspect of this novel and even then it's quite boring and only draws you in with the "professional" words and schemes that when you actually think about it doesn't make sense. Inshort, it's better to read an urban fantasy novel than this.

If you like a Grey Modern story that becomes Dark Fantasy that has a high finance exploring start, then this is for you. It handles the finance quiet well and once the Dark Fantasy starts rolling, it doesn't truly stop, as of the point I am stopping reading. [c289] If you want a Grey Modern that stays a Grey Fantasy that uses the time before the world changes as a way to build a group to save the world. Then this story will mislead you with all the finance talk and all that leads to the MC building. The reason for my scoring it a 3/5 when I have not finished the story comes down to the nose dive from what I felt was a Grey story. Now, maybe hope comes back in some chapters but I have lost my willingness to drag myself through those possible chapters.

This is like 90% finance and 10% fighting, I read more than 1/3rd of it hoping for it to get into the fantasy side but it’s just about finance. Don’t get me wrong I think finance is cool but not this cool enough.

I just finished the roma and I highly recommend it. The first part of the novel is quite slow and revolves around finance, which could put off some. . . the secondary characters are developed, realistic and above all coherent. . .

One of my favorite stories, it doesn't follow any clichés and is very realistic, details that are usually ignored are very well addressed here, the protagonist isn't strong from the start even with the knowledge of the future he suffers a lot to become strong, he spends years preparing, it's not from one day to the next that he becomes strong
