Jay was merely an abandoned butcher’s son, living in a small village on the outskirts of a magical world. When humans came of age, they would receive their class from a mana conduit, granting them magic powers, and begin their lives as adventurers.
“Status,” Thought Jay, checking his class.

“...I’m a Necromancer?” Shocked, looking around in fear, he was glad no one heard him. In this world, this was a monster class, and one of the more powerful monsters at that; a powerful being which raised the dead to fight on its behalf. They would hunt Jay down and killed on sight. He was not just a threat to the authority of the nobles, but to all living things.
“But am I a monster now? Or human? I guess it doesn’t matter. They’ll kill me all the same.”
Jay now had only one option: to get stronger, building his necrotic powers up so that he may one day become untouchable.
Through plotting, secrecy, and sometimes by sheer carnage, he can only attempt to survive in this hostile world.
Join Jay as he struggles against all odds and misfortune, against a world that wants him dead, as he secretly rises and bends this world to his will.

Ch.101 This is a novel with good potential but terrible execution. The main character is stupid (blackmails himself with his secret from the start, does inconsistent and illogical actions, etc.) His mental state is unbearable. (There is the tag Chaotic neutral while mc is more lawfull good) Several times, there is no mc's pov for 3 chapters and he is not mentioned either. Despite all its faults, I tolerated the novel until the mc, A NECROMANCER, A RANGE MAGE CLASS, put stat points in the force. 2,6/5
The synopsis has me hyped so I'm not going to read the comments at the risk of discovering that I'm going to hate this novel. I'll jump straight into it.

Hey I wanted to pick this up again, I was at the point where he met the vampire(?) girl and was pretending to be enslaved by her. This was while he was on the run.
If you're looking for a necromancer novel, this isn't really it. It's good. But you can change the necromancer part to some other overpowered ability and rewrite the novel with almost the exact same arcs and behavior of the MC et cetera. Although I'm only 100 chapters in. -- If anyone has a necromancer novel where the necromancer part is like the main plot, something that is irreplaceable in the plot please send your recommendations this way!!!!
