Its an ok read. I like FL and ML relationship as they kind of made for each other. Its light and cute story. But somehow, eventhough I remember I like it when read it, I cannot recall the story that much after 2 weeks. The story was too generic and don't leave that much of impression for me. Author did a good job though đ

Beware: no mention of sm*t in synopsis. Overall I really liked the story. It had great pacing. I loved Yan Shi Ning and Pei Jinâs pet names for one another. It really showed that they had a rich history together. Their bickering and unmasked attitudes when they were alone was really refreshing. However I wouldâve liked more insight into how Pei Jin made connections and built up his forces. Sadly, we didnât get any details about how he gained any of his strengths â physical, intellectual, military, or otherwise.

The story's great to read, just the right mix not that boring and not that so heavyâșïž, thumbs up to the author and translator, atleast the story ended, if you know what i meanâșïž

There was good and lively interaction between the main couple. This novel was fun to read, not very indepth but the story felt complete and satisfying in the end.

Fun and easy read. Especially enjoyed the humor between the characters. Itâs a short and enjoyable break if youâre slogging through those novels with almost a thousand chapters or more

This is a good, quality novel. The pace of the story is balanced well with the amount of chapters and I'd encourage anyone to read if they have time. The beginning is a bit slow but it picks up and is excellent to the end.

So sad to be emperor. Stay in highest and most powerful but alone. Nobody around really treated him as family and even family also treats for the Thorne. Hope for season 2. How new emperor in power more deceiving for more power.

It was short and sweet. No dragging on of the plot. Not too hateful conflicts. The chaeacters are very lovable. My favorite has got to be the brothers Pei Jin and Pei Khan

But in the end empress still win to deceive emperor in his making decisions who won Thorne. Emperor is the evil one. Making all his son die for Thorne.
