Demon's Virtue

I'm genuinely upset about the how the novel is going. The first 100 chapter were peak the fact that the author made reading about how a mindless creatures slowly becomes smarter, enjoyable is awesome. The demons relationship with his family is genuine and fun to read and the misunderstandings stemming from the fact he's a demon adds a level of realism. The part thay upsets me is the fact that at this point(around chapter 400) he's cheater death 4 or 5 times and gained so many op b*llsh*t abilities that feel extremely undeserved. Literally the fact alone that he can distribute stats how he wants is strong enough, the cards system makes sense but everything else is so unnecessary and just ruin what's left of the story. I'm dropping this unless people start saying that it gets better but man am I disappointed.

Demon's Virtue completely exceeded my expectations. From the start, the story hooks you with its fascinating world and a protagonist whose growth is nothing short of incredible. The magic system is detailed without feeling overwhelming, and the characters feel authentic, with believable motivations and depth. The beginning, especially the first 50 chapters, takes its time compared to the fast pace later on. But honestly? It works. The slower start is unique because the MC begins with absolutely nothing and gradually transforms into something entirely unexpected. That buildup lays a foundation that makes the rest of the story hit so much harder. What really surprised me, though, was how emotional this book gets. There are moments that genuinely tug at your heart, adding so much weight to the story. The MC isn’t always stable—his struggles make that clear—but it’s handled in a way that feels real and relatable. Most of the time, he’s sharp, clever, and incredibly capable, which makes his journey even more satisfying to follow. Once the story picks up, it doesn’t slow down. If you’re into fantasy with a clever and well-rounded protagonist, plenty of action, emotional moments, and a fresh take on character growth, this is definitely worth reading.

I'll give it 3 ⭐, I stop at 204, the story is slow but it's not bad, the character are ok but MC always gets angry easily which becomes troublesome and unbearable, I know it's because of the wrath mark but I just can't sorry. 😐

This is a great novel with a fleshed out world, an interesting plot and an MC with decent motivations that go beyond "I wanna be the strongest" (I'm looking at you Shang), my only issue with the novel is that it's release schedule is horrible, I stacked chapters for a year and only came out with 20 to read (each chapter is long so it is more like 40 of a regular LN). Whilst I hope that this aspect improves, I would advise anyone to read this and immerse themselves in a world rich in characters and world building.

ch 205. It was good at first but then the author ruined it. 1. The mc is always angry and when he fights his enemies he gets even madder and acts stupid. The only reason why he wins at all up till now is either the enemy is so weak or they are really strong but are really confident they don't take him seriously. 2. The mc is stupid and likes to show off. Every time someone is shocked at what he just did, he proceeds to explain everything even telling some of his secrets. 3. After he goes explore the world it became repetitive. Problem happens. to weak. trains. wins. then problem happens again. It is to structured and becomes predictable. 4. This is a pet peive of mine I hate when every character decides to curse ALL the time. And mind you that it wasnt like that in the beginning. Honestly the author had something great here could of possibly been a 9/10 but not anymore. If anyone has read more than me let me know if it gets better.

MY fav par of MC is when he acts like a parental figure. just wished the story would have progressed more . The Mc should have had more breakthroughs. It made me sad when his children where brainwashed

Overall, it’s extremely good. It doesn’t focus exclusively on combat, so if you have a short attention span, it may seem a bit slow at times, but it has plenty of alternative themes that more than make up for it. The characters behave appropriately for their age/circumstances, and the main character behaves logically in most if not all situations. It’s definitely worth giving a read.

If you are looking for an op, fast paced novel, this isn't the one for you. The story offers many unique twists on a typical fantasy. Doesn't have typical cliches like being directly overpowered, as well as no harems.

Its really sloooooooooooo paced novel. You will get asleep 🤪. I read till 110 chapter and it doesn't get intersting. And it gets way way more slow

Its good lots of tags missing like there is romance he has adopted kids and is ruthless at times very unique not typical light novels a good read deserve better rating
