really beautiful story, if u liked author’s other book, u will sure love this one, GREAT WORLD BUILDING, will say last two arcs where a bit anti-climatic to such beautiful story, but the rest of the books makes up for it that you wouldn’t even care, i really enjoyed this book, and also fang yuan’s character, will do anything for power & always two steps ahead !

Adored this novel! Had read "Warlock of the magus world" from him too and felt drawn to the title of this one. Didn't disappoint. Cold blooded MC, no love. The ending was a bit "meh", but it tied the story together anyhow. Would recommend!

A wonderful read. Ending was not upto level of what I was expecting but the journey itself was good. MC is not that carefree but quite scheming and occasionally ruthless, kind of remind me another MC of same name

I have read an another work of this Author called WMW. I can tell it is clearly better in most aspects that this one, there are some similarities ofcourse. This novel is misleading, it starts from a completely different genre for first 80-150 chapters, then it goes later. The problem is. MC does not build a faction, does not have any lasting connections. The story is convoluted with forced plot "I need to powerup, so I go to dreamworld". Dreamworld is conveniently moving at a different time space, that allows MC to quickly power up. The ending part feels like it would be better to be cut off shorter on 30-50 chapters. It is still a novel that is decently written, there are some memorable scenes, some parts are skippable, and it may be worth reading, but only if you don't have a better choice in sight.

This is pretty great, though somewhat messy. The story begins as an almost literature quality slice of life, with a near meditative focus on living peacefully while pursuing goals. It's slow, but the genuinely smart protagonist paired with their laid back approach to avoiding trouble and growing their strength makes for a pleasant read. It takes a couple hundred chapters for the "Path of Dreams" to kick in, and while fun at first, the story begins to feel unfocused with new power systems constantly being introduced but never being interrogated to the same depth as the beginning. I enjoyed it, but it felt like the worldbuilding grew shallower over time, and the core power system became somewhat opaque. The worlds were genuinely fun with a lot of subtle references, with the Curse world having straight up movie quality horror plots. As time goes on, the story becomes more of a generic action fantasy, losing the "Carefree" core that really embodied the first couple hundred chapters. I'd still recommend it, but with the caveat that it won't be to everyone's taste. Last note, is that the evil protagonist, racism, and nationalism tags really aren't half as relevant as I'd expected them to be, with only a dozen chapters or so touching on them. The MC's definitely an antihero, but not malicious. Just apathetic.

Okay so Overall I think we should change the title to transversing through dreams or getting stronger thru dreams. Cause there isn't any carefree here at all. Also after almost 600 chapters, I got bored. So I'll stop for now. And maybe pick it up later on. What I like here the most is that he is true to his goal and no harem so far at all. Also he's smart and not reckless unlike the usual mc so upvote for that as well.

Carefree path of dreams has ups and downs but it is not as bad as people make it up to be. I liked how Fang Yuan slowly became a ruthless evil higher lifeform outer god from a smart but a bit naive kid. His cheat system is also not really powerful as in it is a support type and he has to work hard and earn things himself to get stronger. By the mid story, his system loses most use and only until Fang Yuan reaches the same level as the system that it becomes relevant. Also, people also said they didn't liked the fat this had nationalism and racism but all I found is that in a world where one nation calling it's enemy nation racial slurs. Plus, while Fang Yuan doesn't stop it, he doesn't approve it either. In conclusion, it is a memorable read.

It's a better Web Novel compared to most novels with a lot of Young masters and Senior/ Junior brothers :/ It has a Unique storyline where MC persues the Dream Dao. If your not botherd by low quality translation then go for it.

The author's work, "Warlock from the Magus World, " seems to have drawn inspiration from various sources, including "The Wizard World" and "Night Ranger. " While some readers might see this as a form of artistic influence, others may perceive it as excessive borrowing or plagiarism. Throughout the story's progression, certain elements appear to have been replicated from other works, and this could potentially lead to concerns about originality and creativity. The ending of "Warlock from the Magus World" might have left some readers dissatisfied, possibly due to a perceived lack of fresh content or ideas towards the later stages of the narrative. It's essential for authors to strive for uniqueness and originality in their creations, as relying too heavily on existing works can diminish the sense of innovation and authorship. As readers, it's essential to be mindful of the creative process and the importance of respecting intellectual property. While it's worth noting that the author has reportedly admitted to borrowing ideas from other sources, it's also crucial to remember that influence from other works is common in the literary world. However, there is a fine line between inspiration and outright copying, and it's up to readers to engage in meaningful discussions about these aspects without resorting to unnecessary accusations. Ultimately, it's essential to approach such situations with constructive criticism and an open mind, recognizing both the strengths and weaknesses of a work while promoting a healthy and respectful dialogue within the literary community.

The ending was pretty horrible and it seems like the author found himself out of ideas near the end (chap 800-900ish). The start was pretty decent
