Age of Adepts

The novel started off brilliantly, with the potential to reach the level of "Warlock of the Magus World" or even surpass it. However, after chapter 100, the author kept introducing annoying female characters around the mc, and the story became dragged out and boring with too many unnecessary events and explanations. And i hate the mc so boring character and boring acts man do something in ur life. Chapters 1–100 deserve a 4. 8 chapters after 150– deserves 2

Good characters and fun power progression, mc works his way to the top. Author's writing a new ending but hasn't been translated yet, but it'll be better than the current one.

One of my favorites. Originally, I would have put 1 star for the absolute atrocity that was the ending, but now that the ending has been retconned, I’m giving it 5. The end was THAT bad. Okay, for the actual review. The characters were pretty well written, the magic system makes sense. Plot armor wasn’t very prevalent, and overall it was very enjoyable. My only grievance is that at times it does feel a touch slow, but I’ll chalk that up to me being busy and only reading during the short windows of time I can grab, so sometimes there isn’t anything exciting happening.

Ending retconned months ago but not yet translated. Love the world and the character progression. Great power fantasy read. Some parts not make sense in the beginning such as the exp system but removed later. Polygamy has story and not just braindead opposite s*x for sexual reading.

Wow was it an amazing read… for 9. 8/10ths of the book… I blame myself, usually the comments say what they please and i knew everyone’s opinion on the ending but i figured what the hey, only to actually have my blood go through the roof … someone should email the author a middle finger for the rest of his life

It just ends very unexpectedly and unfulfilled and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The ending made me regret wasting my time reading this novel.

I enjoyed this story almost all of the way through and I hate to give it a one star review. I can not give it any higher in good faith since the author either got bored or just wanted to give up on the story and left it incomplete with no major plot points resolved.

Its ONE STAR, some bullsh*t prevent me from rating it as one star. f*cking bad, Author ruined it, theres nothing unique about MC, just a plain protagonist who rely on LUCK on every moment to survive. MC is s*upid, saying he is lowkey but always present himself, knowing there was a danger and his a weak one, he just stand there looking like a fool, what are you observing for? So much nonsense, regarding MC golden finger, what was that EXPERIENCE thing, so hard to justify, I dont know if I will accept this novel as game genre or fantasy one, Super bad, I want to continue reading it but, I was irritated by MC so much nonsense, Idiot, All in all he wasted his golden finger, I am tired of novel rely so much on protagonist aura, even an idiot MC will survive. Dont read it of you finished reading WMW there nothing to compare, WMW wins

Well written Well thought out hits most if not all the notes you would hope it would except one big problem the ending is S tier TRASH with absolutely no path to redemption

5 out of 5 for the novel Good storyline Good powersystem Good MC Really good world building Good flow and growth Honestly exceptional novel -2 for that ending like wtf is that ending Read this if you have time but don't expect to feel satisfied when you finish it
