Against the Gods (Web Novel)

Its kinda good, but some of the plot is so repetitive the constant cliches that everyone thinks he's dead but comes back during troubled times. AND most of the problems that happen is due to him trying to protect someone and risking his life for it. With all of that not in it its a good novel, recommended for people who likes mc who's braindead for women and has cool powers.

it does not has too much dao concepts and story is not too deep but stroy is good . if you are finding easy going novels , this is for you but it still has emotional moments. Do not compare with tops.

Quite boring, no depth, author protects the Mc way too Much and it says cunning protagonist in the tags, too much repeating also just kind of dragging things around, no excitement, mostly everything is predictable

I love this LN. Out of all the genre tags on it, I loved the tragedy part the most. . . tragedy followed by happy conclusion. AHHHH!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

Against the Gods is my top 3 favorite novel of all time , I have read it 3 times Even though it's still ongoing I like to reset after reading other novels to binge read The world building is "S" tier only world building novel. . . Against the Gods has lots of action , romance little comedy , but dang does it have a great story very rare I read novels that have characters that served no purpose . Not here every character here has a purpose and there is always closure with the characters , I even cried a couple times reading this Don't mind the negative reviews read it yourself

Probably one of my favourite novels took me abt 2 weeks to catch up and fully satisfied. I was actually shocked that this was actually so good despite its rating which start to make me think what other masterpieces have I missed because of some inaccurate rating

Excellent novel. The protagonist gradually evolves as the work progresses, but what I like most about this work is the maturation of the psyche that provides a feeling of a human as if we were reaching the top of existence. I discovered this work 9 years ago, when I was going through a difficult and very depressed time. As I read it, I began to identify with the MC and when I saw him overcoming obstacles that he thought he couldn't, it helped me overcome mine too. I have a special place in my heart for this work. So enjoy it.

I cant believe i can get this far but here i am. Against the God is a very interesting novel with good world building and mystery, what all the review below me said is true because the MC really is ungrateful f*ck with one balls as his brain as a matter of fact im convinced i was gonna leave a bad review after finishing the novel but holy hell does it get goods on the later part. For all the people saying this is the best novel ever just ignore them its not bad but its not good either keep your expectation low and it might surprise you when you finish. One more thing i must mention is the fight scene is a bit too long (some people might be into it but im warning you now). There are some rereader in the comment spoiling things but i already report the obvious one so it should be fine now. The translation is good so if you want to give it a try then go ahead.

This is one of my first light novels and I may have been a little emotional while giving a rating. Before this novel, I was very prejudiced against all Chinese novels and novels with harem in them. At that time, I started it just because I was bored and because I saw the translation in the popular novels of a website I liked very much. And I finished more than 1700 chapters in less than a week, which was very unusual for me, I usually do not read more than 1000 chapters in a novel, but this novel made me read itself. Most readers probably will not like this novel. But I recommend it to readers who are new to Chinese novels or have just developed the habit of reading. Another advice I have is that if you really want to read it, take off your critical glasses and prejudice glasses and put them aside, and then remind yourself that this novel is a classic and cliché Chinese novel. 😉🍀
